RB 500 Roller Shade System Wins Best of Year Award From Interior Design Magazine

Congratulations to one of our manufacturers, Hunter Douglas Contract, which won the Best of Year Award for its Roller Blind (RB) 500. The award was the result of an annual people’s choice competition held by Interior Design magazine; architects and interior designers selected RB 500 through an online voting system. RB 500, which debuted at AIA in June, spans even the largest window expanses and offers designers a sleek, easily operable shading system for the window.

These extra-large shades make a dramatic statement and control heat, light, and views,” said Rich Ries, Business Unit Manager, Hunter Douglas Contract Window Coverings. “The new RB 500 is a highly durable hardware and operating system that delivers smooth and reliable operation.” Read more at the Hunter Douglas News site.
